Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Quail

In a bowl, mix the olive oil, baharat spice mix, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Add the quail breasts and coat them well. Cover and let marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.

  2. 2

    Prepare Skewers

Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning. After soaking, thread the marinated quail breasts onto the skewers, alternating with barberries and chopped pistachios.

  3. 3

    Grill the Kebabs

Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the kebabs for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the quail is cooked through and slightly charred.

  4. 4

    Serve

Remove the kebabs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes. Serve warm, garnished with extra pistachios and barberries if desired.
