Cocktail

Method

Prepare Glass & Rim

1

Chill glass

Place a rocks or margarita glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes to chill while you prepare the cocktail.

2

Pour the coarse salt onto a small plate. Run the lime wedge around the rim of the chilled glass to moisten it, then dip the rim into the salt and twist to coat evenly. Set the glass aside.

Make Mango Margarita

3

Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice (about 1 cup).

4

Add 2 oz Bribon Reposado Tequila, 2 oz REAL Mango purée or nectar, 1 oz sour mix, 0.5 oz triple sec, 0.5 oz fresh lime juice, and 0.25 oz simple syrup (if using) into the shaker.

5

Secure the shaker lid and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds, until the shaker is frosty and well chilled to properly integrate the mango purée with the liquids.

6

Fill the prepared glass with fresh ice (preferably large cubes). Double-strain the cocktail into the glass to remove any large mango solids (use a Hawthorne strainer and a fine mesh strainer if available).

7

Give the drink a gentle stir in the glass to settle.

Garnish & Serve

8

Garnish with a lime wedge on the rim and a mango slice on the edge of the glass.

9

Serve immediately with a short straw. Optionally provide a small plate with extra salted rim for guests who want to re-rim their sip.
