Cocktail
Combine ingredients
In a mixing glass, add 2 oz Blade & Bow Bourbon, 1 oz Giuseppe Carpano sweet vermouth, 0.25 oz Luxardo Maraschino cherry liqueur, and 2 dashes Angostura bitters.
Strain
Discard the ice and water from the chilled serving glass. Double-strain the stirred cocktail into the chilled coupe or Nick & Nora using a Hawthorne and fine mesh strainer (or a julep strainer if you don't have a fine mesh) to remove any small ice shards.
Garnish and finish
Express an orange peel over the drink by holding the peel skin-side down about 3–4 inches above the surface and giving it a firm twist to release the oils, then rub the peel around the rim and drop it into the glass. Drop one Luxardo cherry into the drink as a final garnish.
Serve
Serve immediately. The Blade Runner Manhattan is best enjoyed chilled and slightly diluted to reveal the vanilla and spice of the bourbon, the herbal-sweet complexity of Carpano, and the cherry lift from Luxardo.
