Prep & Build
Lightly slap 4–6 fresh mint leaves between your palms (or gently bruise with a muddler) to release aroma. Do not pulverize; you want aroma, not bitterness.
Add 2 oz Tito's Vodka, 0.5 oz fresh lime juice, and 2 oz chilled cranberry juice directly over the ice in the copper mug.
Top with approximately 4 oz chilled ginger beer. Pour slowly to preserve carbonation and to leave a small head.
Gently fold the drink twice with a bar spoon (insert near the side of the mug and sweep down and up) to integrate ingredients without flattening the ginger beer.
Garnish & Serve
Nestle the slapped mint sprig on top of the ice for aroma. Optionally, add 1 lime wheel or wedge on the rim and 2–3 fresh cranberries skewered on a cocktail pick or dropped on top for color.
Serve immediately with a straw. Encourage the guest to stir gently before sipping to maintain balanced flavor as the ice melts.
