Honey Garlic Salmon

Mashed Potatoes

Method

Honey Garlic Salmon

  1. 1

    Prepare the Honey Garlic Sauce

In a small bowl, mix together honey, minced garlic, and soy sauce. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Season the Salmon

Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.

  3. 3

    Pan-Sear the Salmon

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for about 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy. Flip the fillets and cook for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through.

  4. 4

    Add the Sauce

Pour the honey garlic sauce over the salmon fillets in the skillet. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, spooning the sauce over the salmon until it thickens slightly.

Mashed Potatoes

  1. 5

    Boil the Potatoes

Place the peeled and cubed potatoes in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook for about 15-20 minutes or until tender.

  2. 6

    Mash the Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter, milk, salt, and black pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy.

Julienne Vegetables

  1. 7

    Cook the Vegetables

In a separate skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the julienned carrots, zucchini, and bell pepper. Season with salt and black pepper. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes or until tender but still crisp.
