Pasta

Method

Prepare the Pasta

  1. 1

    Cook Linguini

In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the linguini according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Make the Sauce

  1. 2

    Sauté Aromatics

In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add minced garlic and crushed red pepper flakes, sautéing for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  2. 3

    Add Tomatoes

Pour in the canned crushed tomatoes. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Bring the sauce to a simmer and let it cook for about 5-7 minutes.

  3. 4

    Cook Seafood

Add shrimp, mussels, and scallops to the tomato sauce. Cover the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes or until all the seafood is cooked through and mussels have opened.

Combine and Serve

  1. 5

    Toss Pasta with Sauce

Add the cooked linguini to the skillet with the sauce and seafood. Toss well to combine, ensuring the pasta is thoroughly coated in the sauce.

  2. 6

    Finish and Garnish

Stir in the chopped basil, parsley, and lemon juice. Serve immediately with extra crushed red pepper flakes if desired.
