Cooking Rice

Rinse the Rice

Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear.

Cook the Rice

In a pot, combine the rinsed rice and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and let it sit covered for another 10 minutes before fluffing with a fork.

Making Goma Steak Sauce

Combine Ingredients

In a bowl, whisk together sesame oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, toasted sesame seeds, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Serving

Plate the Dish

Serve the steamed rice on a plate and drizzle the goma steak sauce generously over the top. Enjoy!
