Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Mushrooms

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Clean the mushrooms by wiping them with a damp cloth and carefully remove the stems. Set the caps aside and chop the stems finely.

  2. 2

    Make the Filling

In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are incorporated.

Stuffing and Baking

  1. 3

    Stuff the Mushrooms

Using a small spoon, fill each mushroom cap with the cheese filling, pressing down slightly to ensure they are well-packed.

  2. 4

    Prepare the Topping

In a small bowl, mix breadcrumbs with olive oil until they are evenly coated.

  3. 5

    Add Topping and Bake

Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the stuffed mushrooms. Place the mushrooms on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden brown.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve Warm

Remove the stuffed mushrooms from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Serve warm as an appetizer or snack.
