Bread Preparation
- 1
Activate Yeast
In a small bowl, combine warm water and active dry yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and salt.
- 3
Combine Ingredients
Make a well in the center of the flour mixture and add the activated yeast mixture and olive oil.

Knead the Dough
Mix until a dough forms. Transfer to a floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- 5
Let the Dough Rise
Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- 6
Shape and Bake
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the risen dough, shape it into a round loaf, and place it on a baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown.
