Prepare the Alfredo Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt, black pepper, and nutmeg. Keep warm.
Making Marinara Sauce

Prepare the Marinara Sauce
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute. Add the crushed tomatoes, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 15-20 minutes until thickened.

Combine and Serve
Divide the cooked linguine between serving plates. Top half with Alfredo sauce and the other half with Marinara sauce. Garnish with chopped parsley and additional grated Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.
