Prepare the Glass
Fill a rocks glass with ice cubes.

Mix the Ingredients
In a mixing glass, combine bourbon, simple syrup, and Angostura bitters. Stir well.

Combine with Soda
Strain the mixture into the prepared rocks glass filled with ice.

Add Soda
Top off the drink with soda water and gently stir to combine.

Garnish
Garnish with an orange slice and a maraschino cherry on top.
