Pickling Ingredients

Method

Pickling Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Vegetables

Wash and cut cucumbers into quarters, slice carrots into thin rounds, and thinly slice radishes.

  2. 2

    Make the Pickling Brine

In a pot, combine water, white vinegar, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat and stir until sugar and salt are fully dissolved.

  3. 3

    Add Spices

Once the brine is boiling, add mustard seeds, black peppercorns, coriander seeds, and garlic cloves. Let simmer for 5 minutes.

  4. 4

    Pack the Jars

In clean, sterilized jars, layer the vegetables with fresh dill, ensuring to pack them tightly.

  5. 5

    Pour the Brine

Carefully pour the hot brine over the packed vegetables, leaving about half an inch of headspace at the top of the jars.

  6. 6

    Seal and Store

Seal the jars with lids and let them cool to room temperature. Once cooled, store in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours before consuming.
