Mint Julep Recipe
10 mint leaves, 2.5 oz Woodford Reserve, 4 oz soda water, 1.5 oz simple syrup, 10-15 ice cubes. Blend until smooth, pour into a proper julep cup, garnish with mint leaves. (This was my Kentucky Derby/ Jazz Fest in Place Drink)

Prepare the Mint
In a cocktail shaker, muddle the fresh mint leaves gently to release their oils.

Add Ingredients
Add the Woodford Reserve bourbon, simple syrup, and ice cubes to the shaker.

Mix the Cocktail
Shake well to combine all ingredients and chill the mixture.

Pour
Strain the mixture into a julep cup filled with crushed ice.

Top with Soda
Add the soda water on top and stir gently to combine.

Garnish
Garnish with additional mint leaves for a refreshing finish.
