Bun Preparation

Activate Yeast
In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Stir gently and let it sit for about 10 minutes until it becomes frothy.

Make Dough
Add the olive oil and salt to the yeast mixture. Gradually add the flour, mixing until a dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm area for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

Cook Beef
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.

Stir in taco seasoning, mixing well. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
Assembling the Franchise

Shape Buns
Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into 12 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a bun and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
