Make the Dough
In a mixing bowl, combine milk powder, all-purpose flour, baking soda, and cardamom powder. Mix well.

Add Ghee and Milk
Add ghee to the dry mixture, mixing until crumbly. Slowly pour in the milk, kneading gently until a smooth dough forms. Add saffron strands and mix well.
- 3
Rest the Dough
Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 20 minutes.
Sugar Syrup Preparation

- 5
Add Rose Water
Remove from heat and stir in the rose water. Set aside to cool slightly.
Frying and Soaking
- 6
Heat Oil/Ghee
In a deep frying pan, heat the oil or ghee over medium heat until hot, but not smoking.
- 7
Shape the Dough Balls
Divide the rested dough into small equal portions and roll each into a smooth ball, ensuring there are no cracks.
- 8
Fry the Dough Balls
Gently slide the dough balls into the hot oil. Fry them in batches, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown (about 5-7 minutes).
