Brew & Sweeten
Brew coffee
Brew about 1.5 cups (approx. 350 ml) of strong coffee using your preferred method (drip, pour-over, French press). The coffee should be hot and freshly made.
While the coffee is hot, add 1 tsp of brown or granulated sugar to the cup and stir until fully dissolved.
Add 1/4 tsp vanilla extract if using and stir to combine.
Combine Alcohol
Pour 2 tablespoons of brandy into the sweetened hot coffee. If you like a slightly richer flavor, add 1 tablespoon of coffee liqueur (optional).
Stir the mixture for about 10–15 seconds to ensure the alcohol is evenly distributed and the drink is well blended.
Finish & Serve
Top the coffee with approximately 2 tablespoons of freshly whipped cream. For a quicker option, use prepared whipped cream sparingly.
Finish with a light dusting (a pinch) of freshly grated nutmeg or cocoa powder over the whipped cream.
