Entrée 1 - Teriyaki Chicken

Entrée 2 - Beef Stir-Fry

Method

Entrée 1 - Teriyaki Chicken

  1. 1

    Marinate the Chicken

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, mirin, brown sugar, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Whisk until the sugar is dissolved.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Chicken

Add the chicken thighs to the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.

  3. 3

    Cook the Chicken

Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Remove chicken from the marinade and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through. Brush with remaining marinade while cooking.

  4. 4

    Garnish

Once cooked, remove from heat, sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.

Entrée 2 - Beef Stir-Fry

  1. 5

    Prepare the Sauce

In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce and cornstarch until smooth.

  2. 6

    Cook the Beef

In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over high heat. Add the sliced beef and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  3. 7

    Stir-Fry the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add bell pepper and broccoli. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes until tender but still crisp.

  4. 8

    Combine and Serve

Return the beef to the skillet, add the garlic, ginger, and sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is coated and heated through. Serve immediately.
