Method

Directions

  1. 1

    Preheat the Broiler

Set your oven's broiler to high and allow it to preheat for about 5 minutes.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Salmon

Rinse the salmon fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Place them skin-side down on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.

  3. 3

    Make the Marinade

In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika until well combined.

  4. 4

    Season the Salmon

Brush the marinade generously over the salmon fillets. Make sure to coat them evenly for the best flavor.

  5. 5

    Broil the Salmon

Place the baking sheet under the broiler. Broil the salmon for 6-10 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets, until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

  6. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Once cooked, remove the salmon from the oven and sprinkle fresh parsley over the top. Serve immediately with your choice of sides.
