Steak Preparation
- 1
Season the Steak
Remove the ribeye steaks from the refrigerator and allow them to come to room temperature for about 30 minutes. Pat them dry with a paper towel, then season both sides generously with salt and black pepper.
- 2
Add Wasabi Paste
Spread 1 teaspoon of wasabi paste on each steak, ensuring it covers the surface evenly.
- 3
Preheat the Broiler
Set your oven broiler to high and allow it to preheat for about 10 minutes.
- 4
- 5
Rest the Steaks
Remove the steaks from the broiler and let them rest for about 5 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute.
Sauce Preparation
- 6
Prepare Sauces
While the steaks are resting, prepare your choice of sauces. You can serve the teriyaki sauce, ponzu sauce, or a mix of the three kinds of Japanese seasoning on the side for dipping.
