Grizushi

Roll of the Day

Method

Grizushi Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare Sushi Rice

Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Cook the rice in a rice cooker or on the stovetop according to package instructions. Once cooked, let it cool to room temperature.

  2. 2

    Slice Ingredients

Thinly slice the fresh salmon and avocado. Keep them ready for assembly.

  3. 3

    Assemble Grizushi

Lay a nori sheet on a bamboo sushi mat. Wet your hands and take a handful of sushi rice, spreading it evenly over the nori while leaving a small border at the top. Arrange slices of salmon and avocado over the rice, then roll tightly using the mat. Cut into bite-sized pieces.

  4. 4

    Serve

Arrange the grizushi pieces on a plate. Serve with soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger on the side.

Roll of the Day Preparation

  1. 5

    Prepare Sushi Rice

Use the remaining sushi rice from the grizushi preparation. Ensure it is at room temperature.

  2. 6

    Slice Ingredients

Thinly slice the cucumber and prepare the crab meat if necessary. Keep them ready for assembly.

  3. 7

    Assemble Roll

Lay another nori sheet on the bamboo sushi mat. Spread sushi rice over the nori, leaving a border at the top. Place crab meat, cucumber slices, and cream cheese along the center. Roll tightly using the mat and cut into 6 pieces.

  4. 8

    Garnish and Serve

Sprinkle sesame seeds on the cut rolls. Arrange them on a plate and serve with soy sauce.
