In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion, carrot, and celery. Sauté until softened, about 5-7 minutes.

Add Beef and Garlic

Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute.

Incorporate Tomatoes and Wine

Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, and red wine. Bring to a gentle simmer.

Season the Sauce

Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Let the sauce simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Meanwhile, cook the linguine according to package instructions in a pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain the pasta.

Toss the cooked linguine with the Bolognese sauce. Garnish with fresh basil and grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
