Beyond Meat Burger Patty

Vegan Burger Sauce

Burger Toppings and Assembly

Method

Beyond Meat Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Prepare the grill or pan

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil to prevent sticking.

  2. 2

    Cook the patties

Place Beyond Meat burger patties on the hot grill or skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until browned and heated through.

  3. 3

    Melt the cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of vegan cheddar on each patty and cover with a lid to melt slightly.

Vegan Burger Sauce

  1. 4

    Mix the sauce

In a small bowl, combine vegan mayonnaise, ketchup, yellow mustard, garlic powder, smoked paprika, pickle juice, salt, and black pepper. Stir until smooth and well blended. Set aside.

Burger Toppings and Assembly

  1. 5

    Prepare the vegetables

Wash and dry lettuce leaves. Slice tomato into 4 thick slices. Thinly slice red onion and pickles if not pre-sliced.

  2. 6

    Toast the buns

Cut vegan burger buns in half and toast them lightly on a skillet or in a toaster until golden brown.

  3. 7

    Assemble the burgers

Spread vegan burger sauce on both halves of the buns. On the bottom bun, layer lettuce, cooked burger patty with melted cheese, tomato slice, pickles, and red onion. Top with the other half of the bun.

Fries

  1. 8

    Prepare the potatoes

Wash and peel the russet potatoes. Cut into 1/4-inch thick fries and soak in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

  2. 9

    Heat the oil

In a deep fryer or heavy pot, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

  3. 10

    Fry the potatoes

Drain and dry the potato fries thoroughly. Fry in batches for 4-5 minutes or until golden and crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and place on a paper towel to drain excess oil.

  4. 11

    Season the fries

Sprinkle salt over the hot fries and serve immediately alongside the burgers.
