Beef Patties

Method

Beef Patties

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Mixture

In a bowl, combine the ground Certified Angus Beef®, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently with your hands until just combined. Do not overmix.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the beef mixture into 6 equal portions and shape into small patties, about 2.5 to 3 inches in diameter. Make a small indentation in the center of each to prevent puffing during cooking.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired doneness. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of aged cheddar cheese on each patty to melt slightly.

Burger Sauce

  1. 4

    Make the Sauce

In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, yellow mustard, sweet pickle relish, garlic powder, and paprika until smooth and well combined. Set aside or refrigerate until ready to use.

Toppings & Assembly

  1. 5

    Toast the Buns

Slice the mini slider buns in half. Spread the cut sides with softened butter. Toast on a skillet or grill over medium heat for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

  2. 6

    Assemble the Sliders

Spread burger sauce on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Place a cheeseburger patty on top, followed by a tomato slice and a pickle chip. Top with the other half of the bun. Serve warm.
