Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Lime

Cut the fresh lime into wedges, and set aside two wedges for garnish.

  2. 2

    Muddle the Ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, add the lime wedges and the lime leaves. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently press down on the lime and lime leaves, releasing their juices and oils.

  3. 3

    Add the Gin

Pour 2 oz of Tanqueray gin into the shaker with the muddled lime and lime leaves.

  4. 4

    Shake It Up

Add ice to the shaker, cover, and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds to chill the mixture.

  5. 5

    Strain into Glass

Strain the mixture into a glass filled with ice, ensuring to filter out the lime pieces.

  6. 6

    Add Tonic Water

Slowly pour 4 oz of tonic water into the glass, allowing it to mix gently with the gin mixture.

  7. 7

    Garnish and Serve

Add the reserved lime wedges and top with a cup of frozen citrus slices for an extra refreshing touch. Serve immediately.
