Brownie Directions
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- 2
Melt the Butter
In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- 3
Mix Sugars
In a large mixing bowl, combine the granulated sugar and brown sugar with the melted butter. Whisk until well combined.
- 4
Add Eggs and Vanilla
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- 5
Combine Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- 6
Mix Dry and Wet Ingredients
Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.
- 7
Add Chocolate Chips
Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- 8
Bake the Brownies
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- 9
Cool the Brownies
Once baked, remove the brownies from the oven and let them cool in the pan for about 15 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Serving Directions
- 10
