Method
Chicken Wings

Preheat Oven or Prepare Fryer
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) or heat oil in a deep fryer to 375°F (190°C) if frying.

Season Wings
Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, toss them with salt, black pepper, and vegetable oil until evenly coated.

Cooking the Wings
Place the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a wire rack and bake for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway through. If frying, cook in batches for 8–10 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
Honey Garlic Sauce (optional)

Make Honey Garlic Sauce
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Bring to a simmer.

In a small bowl, mix water and cornstarch to form a slurry, then stir it into the sauce. Cook for another 1–2 minutes until thickened. Remove from heat.

Hot Sauce (optional)

Make Hot Sauce
In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in hot sauce and garlic powder. Simmer for 2–3 minutes, then remove from heat.

Toss cooked wings with the hot sauce until fully coated.
