Prepare the shot glass
Take a shot glass and fill it with 1 oz of tequila.

Prepare the salt
Pour 1 teaspoon of salt onto a small plate. This will be used for rimming the shot glass or as a dip.

Prepare the lime
Cut a lime into wedges, ensuring you have at least one wedge for each shot.

Serve the tequila shot
To enjoy, lick the salt off your hand or dip the rim of the shot glass into the salt. Take the shot of tequila, and immediately bite into a lime wedge.
