Chili Ponzu Sauce

Method

Dumplings Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare Filling

In a large bowl, combine ground pork, chopped green onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully combined.

  2. 2

    Fill Dumplings

Place a potsticker wrapper in the palm of your hand. Add about 1 tablespoon of the pork filling in the center of the wrapper. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, then fold it in half to create a half-moon shape. Press the edges together to seal. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.

Cooking Dumplings

  1. 3

    Cook Dumplings

In a large non-stick skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Add the dumplings to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for about 2-3 minutes or until the bottoms are golden brown.

  2. 4

    Steam Dumplings

Add 1/2 cup of water to the skillet and cover with a lid. Allow the dumplings to steam for about 5-7 minutes or until cooked through. Remove the lid and continue cooking until the water evaporates.

Chili Ponzu Sauce Preparation

  1. 5

    Mix Sauce Ingredients

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, lime juice, chili oil, and sugar until well combined. Set aside.

Mango Salsa Preparation

  1. 6

    Combine Salsa Ingredients

In another bowl, mix diced mango, red onion, red bell pepper, chopped cilantro, lime juice, and salt. Stir gently to combine and set aside.
