Method
Pasta
- 1
Cook the Fettuccine
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- 2
Prepare the Alfredo Sauce
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
- 3
Add Cream and Cheese
Pour in the heavy cream, stirring continuously. Once warmed, gradually add the grated Grana Padano cheese, stirring until melted and combined. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- 4
Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the drained fettuccine to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce. Toss to coat the pasta evenly with the sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add a bit of reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency. Keep warm on low heat.
