Broth

Noodles and Toppings

Method

Preparing the Broth

  1. 1

    Combine Ingredients

In a large pot, add the vegetable broth, miso paste, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Stir well to combine all ingredients.

  2. 2

    Simmer the Broth

Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer over medium heat. Allow it to simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. 3

    Add Green Onions

Stir in the chopped green onions and allow the broth to simmer for an additional 5 minutes.

Cooking the Noodles and Assembling the Ramen

  1. 4

    Cook the Ramen Noodles

In a separate pot, bring water to a boil. Add the ramen noodles and cook according to package instructions (usually 3-5 minutes). Once cooked, drain and set aside.

  2. 5

    Prepare Toppings

While the noodles are cooking, prepare your toppings: soft-boil the eggs, slice the mushrooms, and gather the nori, bean sprouts, and corn.

  3. 6

    Assemble the Ramen

In serving bowls, place a portion of cooked ramen noodles. Ladle the miso broth over the noodles. Top with soft-boiled eggs, sliced mushrooms, nori strips, bean sprouts, and corn.

  4. 7

    Finish with Chili Oil

Drizzle chili oil over the assembled ramen bowls for an extra kick. Serve hot.
