Crust Preparation

Make the Cookie Crust
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a food processor, crush the chocolate cookies into fine crumbs. In a mixing bowl, combine the cookie crumbs with the melted butter until well blended.

Form the Crust
Press the cookie mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow it to cool completely.

Add the Fudge to the Crust
Pour the fudge mixture over the cooled cookie crust, spreading it evenly. Place in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to set.
Ice Cream Layer Preparation

Add the Ice Cream Layer
After the fudge layer has set, remove the pie from the refrigerator. Scoop the mocha ice cream onto the fudge layer and spread it evenly. Return the pie to the freezer for at least 4 hours, or until the ice cream is firm.
Topping Preparation

Add the Toppings
Before serving, remove the pie from the freezer. Top with chopped almonds and whipped cream. Finish with chocolate shavings on top, as desired.
