Prepare the Brussels Sprouts
Trim the stem ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellow or damaged leaves. Cut the sprouts in half lengthwise.

Toast the Almonds
In a dry skillet over medium heat, add the sliced almonds. Toast them for about 3-5 minutes, stirring frequently until they are golden brown and fragrant. Remove from heat and set aside.

Mix the Glaze Ingredients
In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, white miso paste, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and minced garlic until smooth and well combined.

Cook the Brussels Sprouts
In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the halved Brussels sprouts cut-side down. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until they are browned and tender, stirring occasionally.

Add the Glaze
Once the Brussels sprouts are tender, pour the miso maple glaze over them. Toss to coat evenly. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the glaze thickens slightly and adheres to the sprouts.

Transfer the glazed Brussels sprouts to a serving dish and sprinkle with the toasted almonds. Serve warm.
