Preparing the Dip

  1. 1

    Preheat the oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. 2

    Mix the dip ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, and aged white cheddar cheese. Mix until smooth and creamy.

  3. 3

    Add the crab and seasonings

Gently fold in the lump crab meat, minced garlic, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, chopped green onions, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.

  4. 4

    Transfer to baking dish

Transfer the crab mixture into a baking dish, spreading it evenly.

  5. 5

    Bake the dip

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and golden on top.

Preparing the Crostini

  1. 6

    Slice the baguette

Cut the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices.

  2. 7

    Prepare the garlic oil

In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, and salt.

  3. 8

    Brush the bread

Brush each slice of baguette with the garlic oil mixture on both sides.

  4. 9

    Toast the crostini

Place the sliced baguette on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for 8-10 minutes, or until golden and crisp.
