Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Rub the ribeye steaks with olive oil, then sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat, about 450°F (232°C).

  3. 3

    Grill the Steak

Place the seasoned steaks on the grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached.

  4. 4

    Rest the Steak

Once cooked, remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Fries Preparation

  1. 5

    Cut the Potatoes

Wash and peel the russet potatoes. Cut them into thin strips, about 1/4 inch thick.

  2. 6

    Soak the Potatoes

Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

  3. 7

    Heat the Oil

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

  4. 8

    Fry the Potatoes

Fry the soaked potatoes in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  5. 9

    Season the Fries

Sprinkle the hot fries with salt immediately after removing from the oil.
