Preparation
- 1
Bake the Tater Tots
Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F). Spread the frozen tater tots on a baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy, turning halfway through.
- 2
Prepare the Queso
While the tater tots are baking, heat the queso dip in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir occasionally until it is warm and smooth.
Assembly

Layer the Ingredients
Once the tater tots are baked, remove them from the oven and place them on a large serving platter. Pour the warm queso dip over the crispy tater tots, ensuring even coverage.
- 4
Add Toppings
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese generously over the queso-topped tater tots. Then, add the bacon bits on top of the cheese. Drizzle BBQ sauce over everything to taste.
- 5
Garnish
Chop the green onions and sprinkle them over the top as a fresh garnish.

Serve Immediately
Serve the Southwest Totchos immediately while the tater tots are still warm and crispy. Enjoy with additional BBQ sauce on the side if desired.
