Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Chop the smoked ham, onion, and bell pepper into small pieces.

  2. 2

    Beat the Eggs

In a medium bowl, beat the 3 eggs and add salt and black pepper. Mix well.

  3. 3

    Cook the Vegetables

In a non-stick skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and bell pepper, sautéing until they are soft, about 3-4 minutes.

  4. 4

    Add the Ham

Add the chopped smoked country ham to the skillet and cook for an additional 2 minutes until heated through.

  5. 5

    Add the Eggs

Pour the beaten eggs over the cooked vegetables and ham in the skillet. Let it cook without stirring for about 2 minutes or until the edges start to set.

  6. 6

    Add Cheese and Fold

Sprinkle 75 grams of shredded cheddar cheese on one half of the omelet. Carefully fold the other half over the cheese and let it cook for another 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted and the eggs are fully cooked.

  7. 7

    Serve

Slide the omelet onto a plate and top with the remaining shredded cheddar cheese. Serve hot.
