Marshmallow Treats

Prepare the pan
Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan with butter or line it with parchment paper for easy removal of the treats.

Mix in Nutella and salt
Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in 1 cup of Nutella, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until well combined.

Add rice cereal
Gradually add 6 cups of rice cereal to the marshmallow mixture, stirring gently until the cereal is fully coated and incorporated.

Add chocolate chips (optional)
If using, fold in 1 cup of chocolate chips until evenly distributed.

Spread in the pan
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and press it down firmly with a spatula or your hands to create an even layer.

Cool and cut
Allow the treats to cool completely in the pan at room temperature before cutting them into squares or rectangles.

Wrap the treats
Cut the cooled treats into 6 individual portions and wrap each portion in a sheet of wax paper.

Place in the box
Arrange the wrapped treats neatly inside the gift box.

Close the gift box securely to keep the treats fresh.
