Tea Preparation

Boil Water
In a medium-sized pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over high heat.

Steep Tea Bags
Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add 4 assorted tea bags. Let them steep for 5-7 minutes depending on your desired strength.

Add Sugar
If you prefer sweet tea, add 0.5 cups of sugar while the tea is still warm. Stir well until dissolved.

Remove Tea Bags
After steeping, carefully remove the tea bags from the pot and discard them.
Cooling and Serving

Cool the Tea
Allow the tea to cool down to room temperature. You can speed this up by placing it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.

Prepare Glasses
Fill a glass with 1 cup of ice cubes.

Pour Tea
Pour the cooled tea over the ice-filled glass until it is nearly full.

Garnish with lemon slices, fresh mint leaves, peach slices, or berries as desired.
