Method
Preparing the Tea

Boil Water
In a large pot, bring 8 cups of water to a rolling boil.

Steep Tea
Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add your choice of tea bags (Black, Green, or Herbal). Allow the tea to steep for 5-7 minutes depending on your desired strength.

Remove Tea Bags
After steeping, carefully remove the tea bags from the pot and discard them.
Flavoring the Tea

Add Lemon Juice
Mix in 1 cup of fresh lemon juice to the tea for flavor.

Add Mint Leaves
Add 1 cup of fresh mint leaves and let the mixture cool to room temperature.
Serving the Iced Tea

Chill the Tea
Once the tea has cooled, transfer it to a half-gallon pitcher.

Add Ice
Fill the pitcher with 8 cups of ice cubes to chill the tea further.

Serve
Serve the iced tea in glasses over additional ice, if desired. Garnish with more fresh mint leaves or lemon slices for an extra touch.
