Preparation

Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a medium bowl, whisk together the gluten-free all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt until well combined.

Cream Butter and Sugars
In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened unsalted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy using a hand mixer or stand mixer.

Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients
Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.

Fold in Chocolate Chips
Gently fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips into the cookie dough.
Baking

Scoop Dough
Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.

Bake Cookies
Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.

Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
