Method
Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

Cream Butter and Sugars
In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Add Eggs and Vanilla
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract until well combined.

Combine Mixtures
Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined. Do not overmix.

Fold in Chocolate Chunks
Gently fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chunks until evenly distributed.

Scoop Dough
Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
