Chocolate Chunk Cookie

    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

    In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.

    Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

    Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined. Do not overmix.

    Fold in the chocolate chunks until evenly distributed.

    Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
