Fresh Lemonades

Unsweetened Iced Teas

Method

Fresh Lemonades

  1. 1

    Juice the Lemons

Roll the lemons on a hard surface to soften them. Cut in half and juice them into a measuring cup. You should have about 1 cup of lemon juice.

  2. 2

    Make the Lemonade Base

In a large pitcher, combine the lemon juice, sugar, and 2 cups of water. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.

  3. 3

    Dilute the Lemonade

Add the remaining 2 cups of water to the pitcher. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness if needed.

  4. 4

    Serve

Fill individual bottles with ice and pour the lemonade over the ice. Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.

Unsweetened Iced Teas

  1. 5

    Boil Water

In a pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.

  2. 6

    Brew the Tea

Once boiling, remove from heat and add the black tea bags. Let steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired strength.

  3. 7

    Cool the Tea

Remove the tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature. You can speed this up by placing it in the refrigerator.

  4. 8

    Serve

Fill individual bottles with ice, pour the iced tea over the ice, and garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint if desired.
