Method

Preparation of Ingredients

  1. 1

    Juicing the Cucumber

Wash the cucumbers thoroughly. Cut them into smaller pieces and use a juicer to extract about 2 cups of cucumber juice. If you don’t have a juicer, you can blend the cucumber pieces and then strain the juice using a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth.

  2. 2

    Preparing the Mint

Rinse the fresh mint leaves under cold water. Gently pat them dry with a paper towel and set aside.

  3. 3

    Juicing the Lemons

Squeeze fresh lemons to obtain 1 cup of lemon juice. You can use a lemon squeezer or your hands for this. Remove any seeds that may fall into the juice.

Mixing the Lemonade

  1. 4

    Combining Ingredients

In a large pitcher, combine the fresh cucumber juice, lemon juice, and cane sugar. Stir well until the cane sugar is completely dissolved.

  2. 5

    Adding Mint and Water

Add the fresh mint leaves to the pitcher. Pour in 4 cups of water. Stir again to combine all the ingredients well.

Serving

  1. 6

    Chilling and Serving

Refrigerate the cucumber mint lemonade for at least 1 hour to chill. Serve in glasses over ice and garnish with extra mint leaves or cucumber slices if desired.
