Prepare the Glass

Begin by chilling a rocks glass. You can do this by filling it with ice water and setting it aside while you prepare the cocktail.

Combine Ingredients

In a mixing glass, add the Chichicapa mezcal, Bulleit rye whiskey, Carpano Antica, and tobacco bitters. Fill the mixing glass with ice.

Stir the Mixture

Stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds until well chilled and properly diluted.

Strain into Glass

Empty the ice water from the chilled rocks glass and strain the cocktail mixture into the glass over fresh ice.

Garnish and Serve

Garnish with a smoked hoja santa leaf placed on top of the drink. Serve immediately and enjoy!
