Directions

  1. 1

    Boil the Eggs

Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover them with water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, cover the pan and remove it from the heat. Let the eggs sit for 12 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cool and Peel

After 12 minutes, transfer the eggs to an ice bath to cool for about 5 minutes. Once cooled, peel the eggs and cut them in half lengthwise.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Filling

Remove the yolks from the egg halves and place them in a mixing bowl. Add the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Old Bay seasoning, cooked crab meat, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mash together until smooth and well combined.

  4. 4

    Fill the Eggs

Spoon or pipe the filling back into the egg whites. Sprinkle paprika on top for garnish.

  5. 5

    Garnish and Serve

Top with chopped chives and serve chilled or at room temperature.
