Cuvée De Réserve Ingredients
Method
Cuvée De Réserve Directions
- 1
Harvesting Chardonnay Grapes
Carefully harvest 100 kg of ripe Chardonnay grapes from the Côte des Blancs region. Ensure that the grapes are free from rot and disease.
- 2
Crushing and Pressing
Crush the harvested grapes to release their juice. Use a wine press to extract as much juice as possible from the crushed grapes.
- 3
Fermentation
In a fermentation vessel, add 0.5 kg of yeast to the extracted grape juice and let it ferment at a controlled temperature of around 18-20°C for approximately 2-3 weeks.
- 4
Adding Sugar and Sulfur Dioxide
After fermentation is complete, add 5 kg of sugar and 50 g of sulfur dioxide to stabilize the wine and enhance flavors.
- 5
Diluting with Water
If necessary, dilute the mixture with 1000 ml of water to achieve the desired consistency and balance in flavor.
- 6
Bottling
Once the wine has matured and reached the desired flavor profile, bottle the wine into clean, sterilized bottles for aging.
