Great Sandwiches

Rinse the fish fillets, shrimp, and scallops under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.

Prepare the Seafood

In a bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, sea salt, and black pepper. Add the seafood to the bowl and let it marinate for 15 minutes.

Marinate

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated seafood to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the fish is opaque and the shrimp and scallops are cooked through.

Cook the Seafood

Remove from heat, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.

Garnish and Serve

Fresh local fish fillets (such as cod or halibut)

Fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently until just combined. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties.

Prepare the Burger Patties

Preheat a grill or frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip them. Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until desired doneness is reached.

Cook the Patties

Toast the burger buns lightly on the grill or in a toaster. On the bottom half of each bun, layer the lettuce, the cooked patty with cheese, tomato slices, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Top with the other half of the bun.

Assemble the Burgers

Serve the burgers immediately with your favorite sides.

Wash and chop all the vegetables and cube the tofu.

Prepare the Ingredients

In a large pan, heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil over medium heat. Add the cubed tofu and sauté for 5-7 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the pan and set aside.

Cook the Tofu

In the same pan, add the remaining sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Add the broccoli, bell pepper, carrot, and snap peas. Stir-fry for about 5-6 minutes until vegetables are tender but still crisp.

Sauté Vegetables

Return the tofu to the pan, add the soy sauce, and mix everything well. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

Combine Tofu and Sauce

Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot.

Wash the fresh spinach and slice the tomato and avocado.

Spread 1 tablespoon of hummus on each slice of sourdough bread.

On one slice of the bread, layer the spinach, sliced avocado, and tomato.

Layer the Vegetables

Crumble the feta cheese over the vegetables, then drizzle with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
