Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Patty

In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form into a patty, about ¾ inch thick.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patty

Preheat a grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the beef patty for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.

  3. 3

    Add Cheese

During the last minute of cooking, place the cheddar cheese slices on top of the patty to melt.

  4. 4

    Toast the Bun

While the cheese is melting, toast the burger bun on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burger

Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of the toasted bun. Place the beef patty with melted cheese on top, followed by onion ring, pickles, and Midcity BBQ sauce. Top with the other half of the bun.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve immediately with your choice of sides.
