Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patties

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until well combined. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into 4oz patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach the desired level of doneness.

  3. 3

    Add Cheese

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty. Cover the skillet or grill to melt the cheese.

  4. 4

    Toast the Buns

While the cheese is melting, lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burgers

Place each cheese-topped patty on the bottom half of a toasted bun. Top with sliced pickles and cover with the top half of the bun.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the burgers with a bag of chips on the side for a complete meal.
